He has played a key role in shaping landmarks such as Godrej Garden City, a joint venture with Godrej Properties Ltd, and Savvy Swaraj – Sports Living Township, with Savvy Group, redefining modern living. His strategic involvement in acquiring 660 acres of land for Maruti Suzuki’s manufacturing plant at the Mandal-Bechraji Special Investment Region further demonstrates his contribution to large-scale development. 

Along with real estate, Mr. Patel envisions further expanding Sakariya Group’s existing businesses in Mining and air products, aiming to drive innovation, sustainable practices, and long-term growth across industries.

Ansh is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering. His studies equipped him with a strong problem-solving mindset, analytical thinking, and an appreciation for efficiency and structured growth. Supriya has diverse experience in the field of geology, mining business development, company operations and administration. In just over a decade, he has successfully led and managed several grassroot to detailed exploration projects across various commodities including coal, limestone, iron ore, manganese, PGE, base metals, gold, graphite, chromite, bauxite and diamond in multiple countries across Asia and Africa. He has been involved with planning, budgeting and managing exploration projects, QAQC protocols, target generation, resource estimation and reporting in accordance with international reporting codes like JORC and NI 43-101. 

Before joining Sakariya, Supriya was a key member of the Resource Planning Division at NMDC Limited, where he played a significant role in shaping exploration strategies and resource planning. 

Dr. Sukanta is an accomplished geologist with over 15 years of experience in mineral exploration, research, and project management. He holds a Ph.D. in Geology from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and has previously served as a Scientific Officer (Gazetted, Class-I) with the Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration and Research, Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, for more than a decade. 

At Sakariya Mines & Minerals, Dr. Goswami leads exploration programs across gold and graphite projects in Tanzania, overseeing geological mapping, sampling, drilling, and resource assessment. His expertise spans sedimentology, structural geology, ore geology, and geochemistry, with a proven track record in uranium and gold exploration across India and East Africa. 

Dr. Goswami has authored over 30 peer-reviewed scientific publications and has contributed significantly to the understanding of Precambrian geology, uranium metallogeny, and Proterozoic basin evolution. He has been invited to deliver lectures and training programs for geoscience professionals and is actively involved in mentoring young geologists. 

A life member of the Geological Society of India and several other professional bodies, Dr. Goswami brings a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership, and strategic planning to Sakariya’s mission of building a world-class exploration and mining enterprise 

Dr. Sudipta Chanda is a technology leader specializing in the intersection of data science, geology, and statistics. After a distinguished 9-year career architecting data-intensive software and big data applications in the tech industry, he has spent the last year applying this expertise directly within the mining industry to solve complex geoscientific challenges. His work is underpinned by a profound academic foundation, including a Doctorate in Engineering Science from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale , an M.Tech in Geo Exploration from IIT Bombay , and an M.Sc. in Earth Science. He is passionate about leveraging his published research in statistics and hands-on software development skills to enhance exploration accuracy and optimize resource management. Dr. Chanda is now focused on pioneering data-driven solutions for resource geology and geostatistics, bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and foundational geological principles to unlock new value in the mining industry.

Susnata Poddar is a seasoned geologist with over 13 years of diverse experience in the mineral exploration industry. He holds a Master’s degree in Applied Geology from Presidency College, Kolkata, and a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from the University of Calcutta, India.  

Beginning his career as a field geologist in India, Susnata has contributed to a range of greenfield and brownfield exploration projects targeting iron ore, coal, limestone, and bauxite. His early professional journey includes roles with a leading drilling company and a geological consultancy firm.  

Over the past seven years, he has expanded his expertise through active involvement in greenfield exploration across various African mineral belts. His work has focused on commodities such as platinum group elements (PGE), base metals, gold, graphite, and associated minerals.  

Susnata brings a comprehensive skill set in Remote Sensing (RS), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and a variety of mining software platforms. His core competencies include project management, exploration program design, geological data interpretation, resource estimation, as well as financial modeling and budgeting.  

With a strong foundation in both technical and managerial aspects of exploration, he plays a critical role in advancing exploration strategies and delivering value-driven geological insights.  

Professional Geologist with over 13 years of diverse experience in the mining, exploration, and mineral industries, holding an M.Sc. in Applied Geology from the University of Calcutta. Extensive expertise includes mineral exploration and geological assessment in gold, graphite, iron ore, limestone, manganese and bauxite, with significant professional exposure in both India and Tanzania.

Core strengths encompass geological mapping, sampling, trenching, pitting, core analysis, technical reporting, QA/QC, and statutory compliance aligned with JORC standards. Proven capabilities also include preparation of Mining Plans, and ensuring adherence to evolving mining regulations. Currently serving as Manager (Geologist) at Sakariya Mines & Minerals, Tanzania, the role is defined by strategic planning, meticulous execution, and a strong commitment to sustainable mining operations.

Rahul Debnath has attained a distinguished career in mineral exploration, utilizing his technical expertise and strategic leadership. He is proficient in greenfield and brownfield exploration and specializes in commodities such as gold, chromite and graphite. His global experiences spans exploration programs across Asia and Africa, where he has led comprehensive initiatives, including, explorations planning, geological mapping, drilling operations, sampling, quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) and resource estimation. His adept oversight of drilling projects across complex geological environments, combined with proficiency in industry-standard software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, Datamine, and Leapfrog Geo, ensures precision in geological modeling and data analysis, delivering superior project outcomes.

His career began as a Senior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, where he built a robust academic foundation. He later served as a Consultant at L&T Technology Services, delivering innovative solutions. At SRK Mining Services (India) Pvt. Ltd., he excelled in managing brownfield exploration programs and ensuring rigorous QA/QC standards. His technical expertise and software skills continue to drive transformative advancements in geological sciences, establishing him as a prominent geologist in the global exploration industry.

Saurav Chakraborty is an experienced geophysicist with over 10 years in mineral and oil & gas exploration, specializing in field-based geophysical surveys and subsurface imaging across Africa and India. He has successfully led and executed various ground geophysical surveys—including Induced Polarization (IP), magnetic, and resistivity methods—targeting gold, graphite, and base metal deposits. His strength lies in applying geophysical techniques in the field to map structurally controlled mineralized zones and support drill planning.

At Sakariya Mines and Minerals, Saurav is responsible for survey planning, managing field operations, and making real-time decisions during data acquisition. His practical understanding of on-ground challenges and logistics ensures smooth and efficient execution of exploration programs, contributing directly to project success.

Before joining Sakariya, he worked with Alphageo India Ltd and Hind Geophysical Services, where he was involved in large-scale 2D and 3D seismic data acquisition projects for oil and gas exploration. This experience enhanced his understanding of subsurface imaging, which he now effectively applies in mineral exploration. With a strong foundation in both seismic and electrical methods, Saurav plays a vital role in driving the company’s exploration activities forward.

Dr. Dey is an accomplished geologist with over nine years of cumulative experience in mineral exploration and geological research. He holds a Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Calcutta, India, and possesses a solid technical background in applied geology, structural geology, and sedimentology.

Currently serving with Sakariya Mines and Minerals, Dr. Dey has developed extensive expertise in orogenic gold and graphite exploration across Tanzania. As a Project Leader, he has successfully led multidisciplinary teams in the planning, budgeting, execution, and management of geological mapping, geochemical surveys, geophysical surveys, and diamond drilling programs.

Dr. Dey is highly skilled in the interpretation of geological and geophysical data, 3D geological modelling, data analysis, and reporting under the JORC framework. He has extensive experience in Project management, QA/AC management and SOP preparation. His technical acumen extends to advanced GIS and geological modelling platforms, including QGIS, ArcGIS, Leapfrog, and Datamine.

Beyond mineral exploration, Dr. Dey has made notable contributions to academia, with publications in internationally acclaimed journals. He has also designed and conducted several training and internship programs, underscoring his commitment to professional development and capacity building. Having collaborated with teams from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds, Dr. Dey is recognized for his strong leadership, effective communication, and community engagement skills, which continue to advance Sakariya’s strategic objectives.

She holds an M.Sc. in Geology from Banaras Hindu University and brings over four years of industry experience from Hindustan Zinc Limited, where she worked extensively in base metal mining operations. During this tenure, she was in charge of end-to-end mining workflows and developed a solid understanding of operational, geological, and production-linked aspects of underground mining environments.

She possesses hands-on expertise across core geological and mining functions, including underground mine geology, geological and structural mapping, exploration planning, and orebody interpretation in line with industry standards. She is well-versed in integrating geological data with mining requirements, enabling informed decision-making for sustainable and efficient extraction.

Currently with Sakariya Mines and Minerals, she is responsible for overseeing geological inputs for mining operations with a focus on short-term resource modelling and mine planning support – working closely with cross-functional teams to align geological models with production targets, optimize resource utilization, and support operational excellence. Her approach combines technical rigor with a results-driven, corporate mindset to add measurable value to ongoing and future mining projects.
